Book a Press Conference Room

A press conference or press briefing at SUPERCOMM 2009 can be a very useful public relations tool — for the right news and with the right preparation. With more than 350 expected press, analysts and media, a press conference at SUPERCOMM 2009 provides the opportunity to announce a new product or service to a large, targeted audience.

You may begin reserving slots starting April 1, 2009. Plan early, as the prime time slots get booked fast.

Things You Will Need To Know:
  • All SUPERCOMM 2009 exhibitors can hold a press conference or press briefings during the show in one of the designated press conference rooms.
  • Conferences cannot be held on the exhibit floor.
  • There is no charge for the use of the press conference room.
  • The press conference room will be located in the SUPERCOMM 2009 Media Center inside the exhibit hall Level 3 of the West Building
  • Press conferences are limited to two hours, including set-up and breakdown of any contracted items or services.
The press conference room will be set up as follows:
  • Classroom style with chairs for up to 75
  • Lectern with light and mic
  • Three skirted tables for press kits, catering, etc.
  • PROXIMA and large projection screen
  • Skirted table and chairs on stage
  • One lavaliere mic

Note: Due to the limited time allotted for conferences each day, we need to be aware of the type of equipment being used during each press conference. This will help us to ensure a simple and timely transition between conferences.

No conferences will be scheduled during keynotes.

The press conference schedule will be posted in the “For Press” section of this site and included in newsletters to registered press and analyst beginning in mid-April and in the Media Center on-site.
Please schedule your press conference as early as possible to allow ample time for promotion.

It's not about "maybe we can try this." At SUPERCOMM 2009, you'll hear a lot of "this is how we're doing it."

"Attended in search for insight on industry trends and vendors that could make it happen and that's what I got."
