No, SUPERCOMM 2009 is a conference and trade show for telecommunications and ICT professionals 

7. Is SUPERCOMM 2009 accessible tho the disabled?

Yes. Scooters and wheelchairs are available on a limited "first come, first served" basis at the coat check locations.  

8. How much does it cost to attend SUPERCOMM 2009?

Exhibits Only Registration for NXTcomm09 is $75 USD for all attendees prior to June 8, 2009. Onsite registration for Exhibits Only Registration is $195 per registrant. Exhibits Only Registration provides access to the Exhibit Floor, NXTcomm Keynotes as well as all complimentary education sessions.

9. Are there paid education programs?

Yes, there will be a number of programs offered by our conference affiliates which require a separate registration fee.

10. How do I secure a hotel room?

When you register for SUPERCOMM 2009, you can immediately link to the hotel reservations pat to reserve a room at SUPERCOMM 2009 special rates. 

Please note that Ambassadors is the official SUPERCOMM 2009 hotel agent.  Any other organization soliciting hotel rooms for SUPERCOMM 2009 is not backed by SUPERCOMM 2009, and rooms cannot be guaranteed.  Please book through Ambassadors to ensure that you have a guaranteed hotel room reservation for SUPERCOMM 2009.

11. How long should I plan to spend at SUPERCOMM 2009?

The length of stay depends on how many keynote and conference sessions you want to attend as well as how many exhibitors you plan to talk to. Most attendees devote at least two days.

12. What is the best way to plan my time at SUPERCOMM 2009?

13. What will it cost me to travel from my hotel to McCormick Place?

Complimentary shuttle bus service is available during the exhibition days, June 9-11, from all official downtown hotels to and from McCormick Place. Better yet, shuttle buses use special restricted routes so the trip is quick and comfortable.

14. Will you be checking identification at the door of the exhibit hall?

Everyone will be asked to show a picture ID at registration and check-in. International attendees will be required to show a passport. Random ID checks and security screenings may be conducted at other times as well.

15. May I bring my spouse and children into the exhibit hall?

SUPERCOMM 2009  is an industry event for ICT professionals which everyone must be wearing a badge; no one under the age of 18 is allowed on the exhibit floor or in conference areas of SUPERCOMM 2009 .

16. May I take pictures or videotape at the show?

No photography, videotaping, or audio/visual recording of any kind is allowed anywhere on the exhibit floor or in the conference areas of the show before, during, or after show hours, except by official SUPERCOMM  photographers and those professional photographers (exhibitor appointed contractors) approved by SUPERCOMM  management. Violators will be escorted from the show and their credentials and/or film will be forfeited. They will not be allowed to re-enter. 

17. Is smoking permitted at SUPERCOMM 2009?

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the conference or exhibit areas of the show, nor in any restaurants, rest rooms, elevators, or offices.
