Miley Cyrus & Rihanna’s Raunchiness Called Out By Charlotte Church: They’re Being Demeaned!

10/15/2013 11:27 AM ET | Filed under: Rihanna Celebrity Feuds Charlotte Church Miley Cyrus Here we go again , Perezcious readers! Miley Cyrus has been stirring up all sorts of controversy , and the craziness is hardly about to stop. But at least this time she isn’t alone because Charlotte Church is calling out Mileybird, Rihanna and many other young ladiez who she feels have become victims of the music industry! After going through her own experiences in the industry, Charlotte is finding it hard to see how today’s musicians are being portrayed in such an overtly sexual manner. She admitted: “What this industry seems to want of its women increasingly is sex objects that appear childlike. Take your clothes off, show you’re an adult There was a big clamor to cover my breasts as they wanted to keep me as young as possible. Then it became, ‘You should definitely get them out, they look great’ Whilst I can’t defer all the blame away from myself, I was barely out of my teenage years, and the consequence of this portrayal of me is that now I am frequently abused on social media. Now I find it difficult to promote my music where it would be best suited.” And while Charlotte pointed at Mileybird’s twerking escapades as a negative reinforcement of gender stereotypes, she also noted how damaging this decision to sell sex can be for the woman. While talking about RiRi’s Pour It Up, she said: “You only have to look at the online response to see that it is only a matter of time until the public turns on an artist for pushing it too far. But the single, like all [of] Rihanna’s other provocative hits, will make her male writers, producers and record label guys a ton of money.” She might not have said Mileybird is being pimped out, but she is most def striking hard! We’re not sure the foam finger fun times fan will respond since that hasn’t really been her thing lately, but if she does we’re pretty sure she’ll be claiming she’s the one who owns her sexuality. As for RiRi, we’re not sure this will get her to stop taking half-nekkid selfies. CLICK HERE to check out which other celebs are Mileybird’s haters and which are Smilers!

The foam-finger wearing, booty-shaking pop singer became what looks like an alien during the music video for rapper Future’s single “Real and True,” one of his tracks which features Miley. The series of exclusive pictures from the video, releasing this Friday, show Cyrus covered in metallic body paint, while Future pretty much looks like himselfbesides wearing an astronaut’s uniform at one point (which makes sense since his nickname is Astronaut Kid). Their work together on the track off his sophomore LP Honest ( releasing in December ) was just one of many collaborations. He played it for Miley and she wanted to be a part of it, so I’m putting the record on my album also.” Speaking of working on Bangerz, Future went into detail during an interview with MTV on his studio time with Miley. “We got a lot of great records, and it all came from conversation and having a nice vibe,” the Atlanta rapper said. “Whenever she allowed me in her personal life through conversation, I tried to take that vibe and go to the booth. I told her, ‘You’ve gotta embrace your fears. If something’s bothering you, you’ve gotta run toward it. If you’re crying about it, you need to cry till you can’t cry anymore. If you try to hold it back, then it’s gonna eat you up. But if you embrace [it], the music moves.” LISTEN: Miley Cyrus raps on French Montana’s “We Ain’t Worried About Nothin'” remix Frank Micelotta/Invision for Epic Records/AP Images He continued, “The songs I did with her [are] very touching.
